Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance initiatives across client engagements.

You will design and implement governance programs that establish trust, visibility, and control across data estates, focusing on structured governance, metadata, taxonomy, and data lineage. You will guide governance strategy for Microsoft Purview, Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and Copilot-integrated analytics while advising on AI governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven or more years of experience delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions.
• Hands‑on implementation experience with Microsoft Purview, including Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights, business glossary, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience establishing data stewardship programs, including executive sponsorship, ownership structures, accountability frameworks, and adoption strategies.
• Experience leading customer‑facing consulting engagements, executive workshops, governance assessments, and strategic advisory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead SME for enterprise data governance and related platforms across client engagements.
• Lead governance discovery, maturity assessments, roadmaps, and executive strategy sessions.
• Architect and oversee implementation of Purview governance capabilities and metadata management across platforms.
• Serve as trusted advisor to executive sponsors, translate business objectives into scalable governance solutions.
• Design governance monitoring and operational reporting using Azure Monitor and related observability tools.
