Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance initiatives for client engagements.

You will work with executive stakeholders, data leaders, and delivery teams to design and implement governance programs ensuring trust, visibility, and control across data estates. The role focuses on metadata management, business glossaries, taxonomy design, data lineage, stewardship models, and governance monitoring, with guidance on modern analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Seven+ years delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview including basic governance components.
• Experience establishing data stewardship programs and governance adoption strategies.
• Experience leading customer-facing consulting engagements and governance assessments.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure and related data governance tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead subject matter expert for enterprise data governance and governance operating models.
• Lead governance discovery workshops, maturity assessments, and roadmaps.
• Design enterprise governance frameworks including glossaries, taxonomy standards, and metadata management processes.
• Architect and oversee Purview governance capabilities and related tooling.
• Guide customers in governance readiness for analytics and AI platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Copilot).
• Lead customer workshops, architecture reviews, and governance design sessions.
• Design governance monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; establish governance reporting and adoption tracking.
