OpenSesame is seeking a Data Engineering Manager I to lead a lean data team and build an AI-ready data foundation. You will steer data governance, ensure reliable analytics, and enable enterprise data access across stakeholders.

You will partner with analysts, product, and engineering to design scalable Snowflake-based pipelines, oversee integrations from Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Zendesk, Jira, and Confluence, and drive a culture of reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Direct supervision and career development for direct reports.
• Foster engineering culture focused on trust and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers in data engineering best practices and design patterns.
• Improve pipeline reliability and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Governance & Accessibility program and Snowflake platform.
• Oversee data ingestion from Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence.
• Ensure data ownership, access management, lineage visibility, and pipeline monitoring.
• Collaborate with analysts, product, and business leaders to enable self-serve analytics.
