Job summary

The Helper Bees seeks a Manager of Data Engineering & Analytics to lead the Data Engineering and Analytics team, reporting to the VP of Business Intelligence. You will own the data strategy, oversee pipelines, governance, and analytics delivery for internal leaders and external partners, with a focus on leveraging AI responsibly in healthcare.

You will grow engineers and analysts, guide model development, and collaborate with Product, Operations, and executives while handling PHI with care.

Qualifications

• As needed, 5+ years in data analytics or data engineering with increasing scope.
• Experience building data warehouses and modern data pipelines.
• Hands-on leadership in data teams and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Data Engineering & Analytics team, ensuring growth.
• Design and maintain data products using Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow, BigQuery.
• Own intake/prioritization in Jira and communicate with stakeholders.
• Drive governance, reliable production data, and scalable analytics.
• Advance predictive/prescriptive analytics and ML model deployment in healthcare.
