Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Director of Analytics Systems to lead a team of six to ten engineers, shaping analytics products for life sciences and diagnostics, and guiding internal tooling and data pipelines in a regulated medical-device context.

You will drive a forward-looking roadmap, integrate foundation models into core analytical pipelines, and align stakeholders across product, data science, and engineering to deliver impact on real-world data and biomarker discovery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of management experience leading analytics engineering teams in a regulated context.
• Experience with analytics data modeling, pipelines, and BI tooling.
• Background in medical devices, clinical diagnostics, or related regulated fields.
• Ability to navigate agile development with strict design controls in regulated environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to align decisions and plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach engineers and future managers.
• Set and raise the bar for engineering quality, productivity, and accountability.
• Scope and prioritize weekly work, aligning with strategic initiatives.
• Own long-term roadmap and project management for team initiatives.
• Drive product direction and discovery for Analytics Systems, building cross-functional connections.
• Craft a strategic vision for analytics systems in life sciences project delivery and diagnostic workflows.
