Qualifications

• 2 years of professional data engineering or software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries against large datasets.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse or data platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Databricks).
• Proficiency with Git-based version control and CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support ingestion, transformation, and validation across the data warehouse.
• Contribute to data modeling and maintain dataset integrity within the Snowflake data platform.
• Integrate with Kafka-driven streams for real-time data ingestion.
• Write clean, well-tested code with unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD workflows.
• Implement logging and observability and respond to production alerts as part of on-call rotations.
