CVS Health is hiring a fully remote Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines powering an internal self-service platform. You will work with senior engineers to modernize ingestion, transformation, and serving of data across teams.

This role emphasizes Python and SQL proficiency, Snowflake expertise, and participation in CI/CD with GitHub Actions. You will contribute to monitoring, testing, and production readiness while leveraging AI tools and cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional data engineering or software development experience.
• Strong SQL: writing, optimizing, troubleshooting against large datasets.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and GitHub Actions workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for ingestion, transformation, and validation.
• Contribute to data modeling and Snowflake platform integrity.
• Integrate with Kafka streams for real-time data ingestion.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews and CI/CD workflows.
