Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Demand Forecasting Planner to join our forecasting team. The role focuses on developing, reviewing, and implementing accurate forecasts for inventory replenishment within the assigned segment, collaborating with partners to translate inputs into forecast implementations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of demand planning experience, strong math and analytics, and proficient Advanced Excel skills. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or experience in lieu of college degrees.
• Minimum 3 years demand planning or related experience.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution environment preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to forecasting implications.

Responsibilities

• Continuously track forecast performance to identify significant trends and deviations.
• Communicate forecast changes effectively to internal partners.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to develop collaborative forecasts for holidays/events.
• Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting processes and analytics.
