AlphaSense seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel, Data & Content to join its growing legal team. Based remotely in the United States, with a preference for the East Coast, you will draft, review, and negotiate complex data and content agreements and advise stakeholders on data rights and AI considerations.

You will collaborate with Content, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to scale the legal function, develop playbooks, and stay ahead of evolving global data laws.

Qualificações

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
• 7+ years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data/content agreements or related matters.
• Knowledge of IP, financial data/research, privacy, securities, and compliance laws.
• Interest in AI-related legal issues in data/content licensing is a plus.
• Able to review and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, licenses, and distribution agreements.
• Strong business acumen with client-service mindset and risk awareness.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, negotiate, and review data/content agreements and related contracts.
• Research and assist with proposals and project plans for data/content procurement and distribution.
• Advise stakeholders on data rights, use restrictions, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Content team on data/content acquisition and policy development.
• Stay informed on global data laws and AI regulatory guidance.
• Help create playbooks to scale the legal function as the company grows.
• Collaborate across time zones and functional groups to support business needs.
• Provide strategic advice ensuring agreements align with policies and processes.
