Job summary

AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Data & Content to join the growing legal team. Based remotely in the United States, you will draft, review, and negotiate complex data and content contracts, including licensing, distribution, and data procurement agreements.

You will advise internal stakeholders on data rights, regulatory compliance, AI-related issues, and matter strategy, partnering with Content, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to scale the legal function while

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and bar admission.
• Minimum 7+ years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data/content agreements and advising stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IP, privacy, financial data, and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review data and content agreements including licensing and distribution.
• Advise internal stakeholders on data rights, AI implications, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Content team on data acquisition and policy development.
• Stay informed on AI/data legal developments across jurisdictions.
