Nuance Labs in Seattle is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to accelerate day-to-day deals and navigate AI data/privacy issues. You will negotiate agreements, coordinate with internal teams and external counsel, and advise on data sourcing, consent, and privacy for research and product development.

The role emphasizes practical, hands-on guidance and deal execution in a fast-moving research environment. Office-based, visa sponsorship available, with equity consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial or tech transactions, ideally hybrid experience.
• Strong drafting and negotiation with multiple deals end-to-end.
• Practical privacy/data protection experience and data rights knowledge.
• Experience with data licensing or AI-related legal concerns.
• Ability to translate complex issues into actionable guidance.

Responsabilités

• Draft, negotiate, and close daily commercial agreements.
• Manage contract workflow from intake to signature.
• Advise on AI data/privacy and data rights for research and product work.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks.
• Collaborate with research and data teams; coordinate with external counsel.
