Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Development Engineer for remote work supporting the Data Center Solutions team. You will develop conceptual designs, technical scopes, equipment selections and proposal documentation for data center and critical power applications, including MV distribution, switchgear, UPS, battery storage and gensets.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Estimating and Project Management, engaging customers to define scope, cost, schedule, and risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, utility infrastructure.
• Ability to read/interpret specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
• Experience developing technical proposals and conceptual engineering packages.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs and technical scopes for data center and critical power applications.
• Select equipment and prepare proposal documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Estimating, and Project Management teams.
• Engage with customers to define project scope, cost, schedule, and risk.
• Provide technical support during project execution.
