Job summary
Ehvert Mission Critical, a Salas O'Brien unit, seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer on an independent contractor basis to support data center projects across the United States. You will model and design power distribution, UPS, standby generators, life safety, and security systems, and coordinate with BIM and CAD tools from schematic through execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
- Experience in electrical design for industrial, residential, and commercial sectors.
- Proficient in English (B1+) and strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of project requirements related to scope, cost, and schedule.
- Expedite engineering deliverables for projects.
- Maintain project scope of work documentation during design evolution.
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, standby generators, and life systems.
- Prepare engineering calculations, schematics, and detailed designs.
- Prepare documentation for execution, including criteria and data sheets.
- Review shop drawings and produce BIM models and CAD drawings.
- Coordinate with BIM tools and RevIt with other disciplines.
