Job summary

Otak is hiring a remote Project Manager to lead multiple data center construction projects across the Americas. The role requires 3+ years in Owner’s Representative roles and 7+ years in related fields, with PE/RA a plus and PMP/CMIT desirable.

Responsibilities include directing design and construction, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensuring project success while maintaining client goals. A strong emphasis on collaboration and remote efficiency is noted.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction or design-related fields including 3+ years in data center construction environments and Owner's Representative experience.
• PE or RA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent datacenter construction projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit projects through all phases, including due diligence, design, permitting, construction, and turnover.
• Manage internal and external resources for building, power, cooling, telecom, and controls.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external consultants including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Facilitate problem-solving and support incorporation of new equipment and operational processes.
• Provide design and construction coordination, guiding key decisions and aligning with client goals.
• Oversee design/construction work across the Americas for consistency and quality.
• Build strong relationships with clients and project partners and ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with Otak team to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery.
