Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Application Engineer for Data Center, Hyperscale Systems Design within the ES AMER NAS division. This is a home-based/remote role for candidates residing in the United States.

You will support hyperscale design engineers, drive technical design efforts, and collaborate with global teams to deliver Eaton solutions across data center power distribution—from medium voltage to rack level—while engaging with sales and engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years of electrical sales/marketing/application engineering experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit is offered; Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from geographic area limitations.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers at hyperscale accounts, aid in technical design and position Eaton-related products.
• Act as the primary contact for technical and engineering support for Eaton's rep sales teams.
• Serve as a technical expert within the hyperscale accounts team and offer comprehensive support to account managers.
• Collaborate with MTDC AE team to align future ready Eaton data center solutions.
• Lead global design efforts and collaborate with global AE teams to localize designs for all regions.
• Facilitate technical collaboration between hyperscale and Eaton’s product lines; support design recommendations.
