Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Design Manager to join our North America Design team, leading the delivery of complex data center design scopes for new builds, fit-outs, expansions, and upgrades. You will direct multidisciplinary consultants and coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, resilient, and commercially effective solutions.

You’ll work with a cross-functional team, establishing design plans, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to global standards while mentoring

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of relevant data center experience.
• University degree in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design delivery for building systems and major packages.
• Direct external consultants and coordinate internal partners.
• Establish design plans, deliverables, and review gates with risk assessments.
• Provide design reporting, site due diligence support, and mentoring.
