Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a Construction Manager to lead pre-construction and construction activities for data center infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle. Travel to project sites in Texas and other geographies is expected, with the role based remotely from home if outside Houston or San Francisco hubs.

The role requires a 5+ year background in construction or energy project management, strong contractor oversight, and proficiency with PM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or energy project management; utilities or modular infra preferred.
• Proven experience managing complex contractor networks and large-scale procurement.
• Strong permitting, utility coordination, and QA/QC knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Procore).
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project execution plan including sequencing, logistics, temporary facilities, and contractor mobilization.
• Support budgets, cost estimates, bid packages, contractor scopes, and project schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, equipment, and proposals for constructability and scope gaps.
• Coordinate input across civil, structural, architectural, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, controls, and other scopes.
• Lead site coordination meetings and communicate priorities and corrective actions.
• Maintain the integrated construction schedule and track progress against milestones.
• Review contractor payments, progress quantities, and change requests with Project Management.
