Job summary

Applied Digital is seeking a Site Construction Cost Manager to drive commercial performance on large-scale data center capital projects, focusing on cost management, change orders, budgeting, GMP reviews, and contractor negotiations.

This role requires on-site presence (approximately 50% travel) for 1–2 weeks per month to engage directly with project teams, General Contractors, and field execution activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction cost management or related discipline.
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-billion-dollar programs preferred.
• Strong understanding of contracts, GMP development, and commercial negotiations.
• Proven ability to drive cost savings of 2–5% on projects.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage large-scale capital project budgets.
• Lead commercial reviews of General Contractor estimates and GMPs.
• Negotiate pricing and scrutinize change orders for value optimization.
• Develop cost benchmarking and trend analyses.
• Support executive reporting on budgets, forecasts, and cost risks.
• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams on contracts.
