Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Director of Construction Management to lead regional teams delivering data center construction projects. You will drive preconstruction through turnover, partner with design and engineering, and maintain performance certainty across multiple regions.

The role requires strong leadership, deep data center knowledge, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships while ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years progressive experience in successfully managing commercial construction projects or programs, with data center experience required.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop staff and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with AHJ processes, lean construction methods, and multiple delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of construction management projects and lead a regional team to drive projects from inception through turnover.
• Maintain performance certainty across projects and ensure timely reporting to management.
• Develop deep relationships with contractors, trade partners, and AHJs to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with other regions to maintain consistency and best practices across programs.
• Oversee budgeting, cost data, and design-phase decisions to optimize costs and schedules.
• Interface with customers during fit-out design, construction, and integration phases.
