Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own delivery from pre-construction through commissioning on major data center builds. This is a 100% travel, on-site role, requiring travel to project sites across the United States with a background in mission-critical data center construction.

You will coordinate safety, schedule, budget, quality, subcontractors and client relationships, partnering with owners, design teams and commissioning to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience with strong data center exposure.
• Experience working for a General Contractor is required.
• Proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong understanding of MEP, critical power, cooling and tech infra.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client reporting.
• Comfortable using Procore, P6, MS Project, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel full-time to project sites across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, cost reporting and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, design teams, commissioning agents and client stakeholders.
• Oversee critical infrastructure scopes including power, cooling, MEP, low voltage and commissioning.
• Manage RFIs, procurement, contract administration, risk mitigation and project reporting.
• Ensure safety, quality and client expectations are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and field teams.
