Mayo Clinic is seeking a Data Engineer - API & AI Gateway Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise API and AI gateway platforms. You will work on API management, security, and governance across cloud and on‑prem environments, enabling scalable, secure data exchange.

The role requires experience with Apigee/X, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, and offers a 100% remote schedule within the United States. Rochester, MN campus is part of the Mayo Clinic network.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 years of experience.
• Experience with data modeling, profiling, and data mining techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay current on healthcare trends.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and support enterprise API & AI Gateway platforms.
• Build and manage scalable API proxies and services (REST/SOAP).
• Implement security frameworks (OAuth, JWT, API keys, mTLS).
• Develop governance standards for versioning and lifecycle management.
• Support deployments across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
