Job summary

Hanover Research is seeking a Senior Research Associate, Data Analytics for a remote, part-time temporary role. You will work with higher education client data to build dashboards and analyze costs, revenues, and program profitability.

You will clean datasets, create Power BI dashboards, run regression analyses, formulate hypotheses, and communicate findings clearly. Collaboration with senior researchers and project managers is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related quantitative discipline preferred.
• Experience interpreting education-related data, and knowledge of higher education systems helpful.
• 2–5 years of quantitative research experience in higher education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process and clean datasets for analysis.
• Create dashboards in Power BI.
• Perform statistical modeling and regression analysis on education data.
• Form hypotheses and locate support for arguments under tight deadlines.
• Write up findings and key takeaways clearly and concisely.
• Provide project managers with regular progress updates and proactively raise potential challenges.
