Job summary

The Eliassen Group is seeking an HR Data and Reporting Analyst to support HR Operations on a remote, contract basis. You will develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards, validate data, and deliver accurate workforce insights across HR processes such as HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning.

You will partner with HRIS and functional teams, ensure data quality and security, support audits, and respond to time-sensitive data requests with clear, business-friendly outputs.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing HR data and creating reports for HR operations.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools and custom reports.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots and lookups.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain data security.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to assess reporting needs and translate them into reliable reports, dashboards, and recurring deliverables.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc Workday reports including calculated fields.
• Validate report logic and reconcile data across HR processes.
• Document report definitions, data sources, procedures, and controls.
• Coordinate with HRIS for system configuration, security changes, integrations, or troubleshooting.
• Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and drive issue resolution with HR teams.
• Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics and present findings clearly.
• Support audits and compliance reporting and respond to time-sensitive requests.
• Test and validate new or revised reports from a business-user perspective.
• Maintain data security and provide guidance to users interpreting HR information.
