Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting to turn complex compliance data into clear, actionable insights across data engineering, regulatory reporting, and compliance operations. You’ll own datasets, dashboards, and end-to-end workflows in a high-scrutiny environment.

You’ll design dashboards and automate pipelines with Python, SQL, DBT and Airflow, delivering audit-ready reports and data models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis and data management within a regulated industry with compliance reporting.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with dbt and data pipelines.
• Experience with AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA or MiFID frameworks and audit-ready data practices.
• Ability to simplify complex data for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own dashboards, metrics, and regulatory reports turning data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Automate end-to-end compliance data solutions and governance controls.
• Develop scalable, audit-ready data models for regulatory reporting and analytics.
• Translate requests into reports and automate data pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT and Airflow.
• Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams.
• Coordinate client data quality monitoring and support ad-hoc audits and risk assessments.
• Deliver data-driven storytelling to shape regulatory direction.
