Job summary

Crypto.com seeks a Compliance Senior Data Analyst to join the Global Regulatory Reporting team, driving CARF and Form 1099-DA reporting and data workflows. You’ll develop SQL queries and APIs to automate data flows and validate regulatory data across complex datasets.

This hands-on role requires independent problem-solving, clear communication, and collaboration across time zones with Compliance, Tax, Finance, and Product teams. Hybrid work setup offered.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to write efficient SQL queries across large datasets with attention to performance and data accuracy.
• Experience using Python or similar languages for data processing or automation.
• Ability to apply a strategic and structured approach to problem solving.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and ongoing execution of CARF and Form 1099-DA reporting requirements, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and data workflows to identify reportable users, transactions, digital assets, proceeds, cost basis, and other reporting data elements.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of CARF and 1099-DA reporting populations and outputs.
• Support data quality controls and reconciliations, including investigation and remediation of exceptions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Tax, Finance, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into data/system specs.
