Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking a Compliance Senior Data Analyst to drive regulatory reporting data workflows across CARF and 1099-DA obligations. You will leverage deep SQL expertise and Python automation to extract, transform, validate, and reconcile data for accurate global reporting.

The role requires collaborating with Compliance, Tax, Finance, Product, and Engineering across multiple time zones. The ideal candidate will write efficient SQL, develop data workflows, and partner on data specifications,

Qualifications

• Strong SQL proficiency for large datasets.
• Experience with Python for data processing or automation.
• Familiarity with APIs or webhooks for third‑party integrations.
• Ability to analyze data for regulatory reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Experience with data lineage, controls, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Support CARF and Form 1099-DA reporting data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Develop SQL queries and data workflows to identify reportable users, transactions, and reporting data elements.
• Analyze reporting populations for accuracy and consistency of outputs.
• Implement data quality controls and investigate/remediate exceptions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Tax, Finance, Product, and Engineering to translate requirements into data specs.
• Track reporting activities in Jira and escalate blockers.
• Document data lineage, logic, and workflows for auditable processes.
