Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting to turn complex compliance data into actionable insights. You will own end-to-end data management from datasets to dashboards, partnering with compliance, engineering and leadership in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is non-negotiable.

You'll design dashboards, automate regulatory data solutions, and build audit-ready models to support regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis within financial services or a regulated industry with compliance reporting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory risk in audit-ready environments.
• Advanced SQL with joins, CTEs and analytics; Python with pandas/plotly.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and data modeling for reporting and decision-making.
• Experience building and governing data pipelines and data orchestration.
• Proficiency with BI tools to build executive dashboards.
• Strong communicator who translates data for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Alignment with Kraken's Tentaclements values.

Responsibilities

• Design dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports for stakeholders and regional officers.
• Automate end-to-end compliance data solutions and governance to boost efficiency.
• Develop scalable, audit-ready data models for regulatory reporting and analytics.
• Translate regulatory and business requests into reports and data pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT and Airflow.
• Lead cross-functional projects to maintain high-quality data sources and pipelines.
• Coordinate data quality monitoring and remediation with responsible teams.
• Support ad-hoc data requests for audits and risk assessments.
• Deliver data-driven insights to shape regulatory strategy.
