Job summary

DLH Corporation seeks a Public Health Data Analyst to support CDC-related work from a remote U.S. base. You will apply R, Power BI, and SAS to analyze health data, develop dashboards, and enable data-driven decisions for national HIV surveillance programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data quality, and scalable analytics in a hybrid environment with occasional in-person CDC visits in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• 2 years of demonstrated experience with R/SQL/Python (developing scripts from scratch).
• Experience with data quality across multiple data sources.
• SAS experience (not necessarily expert).
• Power BI or Tableau experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis and interpret results using R, SQL, or Python.
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI.
• Support data dissemination and reporting to internal and external partners.
• Review data error logs and propose data corrections.
• Document data problems and recommended fixes.
• Merge datasets from multiple sources and ensure quality of merges.
• Assist with data management processes and protocols.
• Provide project status updates to team members.
