The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to HIV surveillance efforts. Required qualifications include a public health or statistics background, hands-on experience with R/SQL/Python, and familiarity with SAS and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, or related field.
• 2 years of strong experience with R, SQL, or Python.
• Ability to work with multiple data sources to monitor data quality.
• SAS experience (not expert).
• Power BI or Tableau experience.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analyses using R, SQL, or Python.
• Collaborate with analysts to develop novel code for analyses.
• Support dissemination and reporting of data to partners.
• Review data error logs and ensure protocol-compliant modifications.
• Document data problems and proposed corrections to finalize datasets.
• Merge data from different sources and ensure merge quality.
• Assist with developing data management processes and protocols.
• Provide status updates to team members.
• Develop or manage dashboards within Power BI.
