Job summary

DLH Corp is seeking a Public Health Data Analyst to support the CDC’s HIV prevention programs in Atlanta, GA. The role emphasizes R, SQL, and Python for data analysis, with Power BI for dashboarding and SAS familiarity.

This is a hybrid position based near Atlanta, with remote work most days and occasional visits to the CDC campus. The candidate should have a public health or statistics background, 2+ years of scripting experience, and the ability to work with multiple data sources to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, or related field.
• 2 years of strong demonstrated experience with R, SQL, or Python (developing scripts from scratch).
• Experience with multiple data sources to monitor data quality (accuracy & completeness).
• SAS experience (not necessarily expert).
• Power BI or Tableau experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis and interpret results using R, SQL, or Python.
• Collaborate with analysts to develop code for analyses.
• Support dissemination and reporting of data to internal and external partners.
• Review data error logs and document needed data modifications.
• Merge data from different sources and ensure quality of merged datasets.
• Develop data management processes and dashboards in Power BI.
