Job summary

Quest Analytics seeks a Data Analyst to advance provider network analytics by working with large claims and directory files. You will uncover trends, measure performance, and support data-driven strategies for network optimization.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and Databricks skills, plus experience with BI tools like Looker and AI-assisted analysis. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Client Services to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare or data-intensive environments
• Experience with large, complex datasets and data investigations
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Spark)
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java
• Experience with BI/data visualization tools (Looker or similar)
• Experience using AI tools to support data analysis and automation
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and stewardship principles
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced analyses on large healthcare datasets to identify trends and actionable insights
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Analyze provider/network data to resolve entity relationships and data sourcing strategies
• Lead data investigations and resolve data quality issues to inform business initiatives
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and analyze data
• Contribute to evaluating new technologies to advance analytics capabilities
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and data models to support Quest products
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps
• Identify improvements to outreach and data processes based on insights
