Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large healthcare datasets to uncover trends, measure network performance, and support data-driven strategies for provider network optimization.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and experience with Databricks or Spark, plus BI tools like Looker. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering and Operations to improve data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments
• Proven experience with large, complex datasets and in-depth data investigations
• Experience supporting product development, data quality initiatives, or analytics-driven business decisions
• Strong proficiency in SQL (intermediate to advanced) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing tools
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
• Experience leveraging AI tools to support data analysis, pattern recognition, and automation
• Understanding of data management best practices, governance, and stewardship
• Experience defining metrics, KPIs, and data models
• Curiosity and continuous learning mindset with evolving technologies

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching across data sources
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to maintain reliable data assets and governance
• Document and track project work in systems such as DevOps
• Identify improvements to outreach strategies and data processes based on insights
