Job summary

Quest Analytics seeks a highly analytical Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large healthcare datasets (claims, provider directories) to uncover trends, measure network performance, and support data-driven strategies for provider network optimization.

You’ll use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to deliver insights, ensure data quality, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience in healthcare, SaaS or data-intensive environments.
• Experience with large datasets and in-depth data investigations.
• Experience supporting product development, data quality initiatives, or analytics-driven decisions.
• Strong SQL skills (intermediate-advanced).
• Experience with Databricks, Spark or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Scala or Java.
• Experience with BI/data visualization tools (Looker or similar).
• Experience using AI tools (Claude or similar) for data analysis, anomaly detection, and automation.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and stewardship principles.
• Experience defining metrics, KPIs and data models for business needs.
• Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex healthcare datasets to identify trends and deliver insights.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Analyze provider network data to resolve entity matching and data sourcing strategies.
• Lead data investigations to address data quality issues and support initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services on data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and analyze large datasets.
• Contribute to evaluating and adopting new analytics technologies.
• Maintain data governance standards for high-quality, compliant data assets.
• Develop metrics, KPIs and data models to support Quest products.
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps.
• Suggest improvements to outreach strategies and data processes.
