Job summary

Quest Analytics seeks a Data Analyst to advance provider network analytics. You will work with large healthcare datasets (claims, directories) to uncover trends, measure performance, and guide data-driven strategies for network optimization.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and experience with Databricks/Spark. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations and Client Services to deliver data solutions and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments
• Proven experience with large, complex datasets and deep data investigations
• Strong SQL proficiency (intermediate to advanced) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing tools
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Looker or similar)
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude or similar) to support analysis and automation
• Strong data governance, quality, and stewardship understanding
• Experience defining metrics, KPIs, and data models for business needs

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching across sources
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and derive insights
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to advance analytics capabilities
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and data models to support products
• Maintain data governance standards and ensure high-quality data assets
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps
• Identify improvements to outreach strategies and data processes
