Job summary

VOANS is seeking a Data Analyst to enhance data quality, automate reporting, and deliver clear portfolio insights for a national affordable housing portfolio. You will develop dashboards, consolidate data from multiple systems, support financial and portfolio analysis, and prepare recurring reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience preferred, in asset management, property management, affordable housing, real estate finance, or data analytics.
• Experience with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, PRAC programs is a plus.
• Strong skills in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget-to-actual results and portfolio trends; identify variances and opportunities.
• Support annual operating and capital budgeting and other funding processes.
• Research market, leasing, and financial data to support portfolio decisions.
• Assist with financial modeling, scenario analyses, and due diligence for transactions.
• Prepare portfolio analytics and reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
• Produce periodic reports for various internal and external audiences.
