Job summary

NOVA® Home Loans in the United States is seeking a Data Analyst to address data requirements by developing prototypes and ad-hoc reports. This role will manage analysis requests, delivering prioritized, data-driven solutions, and contribute to broader Technology department initiatives as directed by leadership.

Additionally, this position may involve safeguarding critical and sensitive data assets. The role offers growth within a data-driven environment and requires experience with ETL, SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, data science, or related field preferred.
• Three years in Data Analyst role with big data tools, Power BI, and SQL Server.
• Three years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Two+ years in a business analysis role or related BS in data-related field.
• One+ years mortgage industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure for ETL from multiple data sources using SQL.
• Automate processes to improve service delivery and support executive needs.
• Lead development of forward-thinking systems to boost efficiency.
• Identify and propose improvements for substandard systems and processes.
• Research and recommend new systems, procedures, or changes to optimize operations.
• Foster relationships with partners/vendors for data integration and data-driven recommendations.
• Participate in cross-departmental groups to align on strategic objectives.
• Define data access requirements and facilitate strategic data sharing.
• Collaborate with development teams on process design and testing feedback.
• Lead data identification efforts and align data with business goals.
• Coordinate meetings to resolve system modification, automation, and integration issues.
• Identify business process improvements through analysis and business cases.
• Participate in Agile processes and balance project priorities.
• Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to meet requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
