Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data & AI Consulting Managing Director, Remote to lead the Data Strategy capability within the Data & Analytics practice in North America. You will oversee client engagements, drive delivery excellence, mentor teams, and shape practice growth.

The role requires executive leadership, governance, and collaboration with partners to align data strategy with business objectives across multiple deployments in North America. Remote-based with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Strategy capability within the D&A practice, ensuring strong client outcomes, delivery quality, financial performance, and business development.
• Provide executive and architectural oversight for complex Data & Analytics engagements across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client satisfaction.
• Establish consistent delivery governance, methodologies, quality standards, risk management, estimation and executive reporting.
• Serve as an executive sponsor and escalation point for strategic clients, resolving delivery issues and maintaining alignment with business objectives.
• Build, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary Data & Analytics teams and future technology leaders of D&A practice.
• Collaborate across technology practices and strategic partners, including understanding product roadmaps (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) and impact to D&A practice in North America.
• Own workforce and capacity planning, balancing skills, utilization, demand, delivery commitments, and development.
• Define and promote best practices across data strategy, architecture, engineering, modernization, analytics, data quality and MDM.
