Job summary

PBI Fiber, a consortium led by Plenary Americas and Tikehau Star Infra, seeks a Dark Fiber Sales Director to drive revenue growth for dark fiber and lit services with carriers, data centers, FTTH providers, and enterprises. You’ll guide customers from initial interest through contract execution and coordinate with Sales Engineering, Network Engineering, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in telecommunications with dark fiber/middle/long-haul know-how.
• Proven track record closing IRU, lease, and lit fiber transactions.
• Understanding of OSP design processes, permitting, and route feasibility.
• Ability to build and manage an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in a CRM.
• Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs and developing proposals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue dark fiber and lit services opportunities with carriers, data centers, FTTH providers, and enterprises.
• Own end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and close.
• Exceed annual revenue growth targets across the three-state footprint.
• Represent PBI at industry events to build market presence and relationships.
• Translate customer requirements into solutions: route designs, cost estimates, and business cases.
• Write proposals and lead commercial elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in the CRM and report on progress.
