Job summary

VikingCloud is seeking a Sales Engineer for a remote role in the Eastern Time Zone. This pre-sales and ongoing client-support position focuses on Compliance, Managed Security, and Security consulting opportunities for enterprise accounts.

You will define business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and articulate our value proposition to both technical and business audiences, including C-levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cyber Security with presales experience.
• Experience in a presales/sales engineering role for enterprise accounts.
• Comfort presenting to technical and business audiences.
• Strong written skills for RFPs, proposals and pricing.
• Knowledge of security technologies across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support for designated accounts.
• Engage clients to define business requirements for security solutions.
• Build relationships with technical decision makers and influencers.
• Drive new sales opportunities through technical communities.
• Translate requirements and value into proposals/SOWs.
• Present value propositions to technical and executive audiences.
• Advise customers on security and ROI, shaping requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market-driven solutions.
