Job summary

Belden Inc. is seeking a Solution Consultant for its Cybersecurity Practice to drive pre-sales activities across converged IT/OT environments.

You will engage in discovery, solution positioning, technical validation, and executive-level value articulation to accelerate pipeline velocity and revenue. You will own technical strategy, conduct demos and workshops, and coordinate with delivery resources to ensure secure architectures and validated solutions for critical infrastructure customers

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, able to present to engineering teams and executives.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (50%+).
Hands-on knowledge of core security domains and architectures.
Familiarity with industrial security frameworks and standards such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82.

Responsibilities

Support Business Development by uncovering client security needs and presenting relevant use cases and solutions.
Own the Technical Strategy by aligning with relevant cybersecurity ecosystems (IT/OT) including major vendors.
Demonstrate Business or Financial Impact via demos, workshops, and PoCs/PoVs with measurable outcomes.
Provide Assessment Scope & Customer Advisory translating findings into remediation roadmaps and proposals.
Accelerate Opportunity Conversion and Revenue Capture through consultative engagement and decision-maker alignment.
Create Validated Solutions using Belden NAC, firewall and software solutions with architecture and BOM alignment.
