Job summary

Belden Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Solution Consultant to design secure, scalable network automation solutions spanning sensor to cloud.

This client-facing role is a key member of the Commercial Team, enabling IT/OT convergence and delivering Belden’s trusted products and services. You will partner with Sales, leverage professional services and SLAs, and translate customer requirements into compelling, financially impactful technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in Pre-Sales designing/engineering network automation for large client networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Communications or Engineering preferred.
• Experience with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, PMs, Sales.
• Track record in credibility building, defining network challenges and solutions.
• Experience using automation tools to produce scope of work, topology, BOM, SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to drive value and bookings with outcome-based solutions.
• Leverage Professional Services and SLA offers to enhance customer experience.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions with financial impact.
• Develop proof-of-concepts delivering operational/financial impact.
• Facilitate handovers to internal execution teams and identify improvement priorities.
• Secure customer commitment through best-in-class solutions and post-sale support.
