Job summary

Belden’s Solution Consulting & Services team seeks a Solution Consultant to design converged IT/OT network solutions using our product portfolio. You will lead demos, PoV/PoC activities, and ensure smooth handoff to execution, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in enterprise/industrial OT/IT infrastructure design, strong communication, and willing to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally, preferably based in the Greater Chicago area.

Qualifications

OT/IT infrastructure design experience in enterprise or industrial environments.
Ability to translate technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Strong collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.

Responsibilities

Drive bookings growth by delivering outcome-based solutions aligned with vertical market strategies.
Define and develop infrastructure requirements, originate designs, build BOM, SLD & logical network hierarchy.
Lead and manage solution development using a OneBelden approach, including third-party products when needed.
Collaborate with SCS counterparts to translate requirements into compelling technical solutions with measurable value.
