Job summary

Belden is seeking a Solution Consultant to design secure, scalable network automation solutions spanning sensor to cloud. This client-facing role sits within the Commercial Team and drives Pre-Sales activities, translating customer needs into technically sound, financially impactful options using Belden’s product suite.

You will partner with Sales across vertical markets, leverage professional services, and develop proofs-of-concepts while ensuring a smooth handover to delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in a Pre-Sales role designing and/or engineering network automation solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, communications or engineering is preferred.
• Experience working with cross functional teams including Solution Architects, Solution Line Managers, Product Managers, Sales and Marketing.
• Track record of establishing credibility and defining network challenges leading to opportunity capture.
• Experience utilizing automation tools that guide the creation of architecture, BOM, SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to drive value, opportunity velocity and bookings by delivering outcome-based solutions.
• Leverage multi-practice and SLA offers to enhance customer experience and drive business impact.
• Translate customer requirements into compelling technical solutions with demonstrable financial impact.
• Recognize and utilize validated architectures to deliver vertical and use-case specific solutions.
• Develop and co-create proof-of-concepts delivering significant operational and/or financial impact.
