Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Supervisor to lead our 24/7/365 ESOC Detection & Response team. This hands-on role blends technical leadership with personnel management and operational oversight, including shift supervision on a 3rd shift (10:00 PM–8:00 AM EST) and coordinating two weekly schedules across Sunday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Saturday.

You will guide investigations, mentor analysts, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, high-quality incident handling using SIEM,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in cybersecurity operations.
Must be a US citizen.
Two of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GCIH, CEH or other related certifications.
Must obtain CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC, or GSOM within the first 8 months of start date.
Leadership experience in a cybersecurity operations environment, including guiding workloads and developing analysts.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily Detection & Response operations, ensuring effective monitoring and incident triage.
Investigate security alerts and incidents using SIEM, EDR, and other tools to analyze activity and support response actions.
Provide technical guidance and support to analysts during investigations and escalations.
Manage personnel, including evaluations, coaching, and development.
Oversee 24/7/365 workloads and staffing coverage; maintain ongoing operations.
