Job summary

SAIC is seeking a SOC Supervisor to lead a team of SOC Analysts and Technical Leads responsible for first-level response to cybersecurity events across SIEM, EDR, and NDR platforms. The role includes alert triage, incident escalation, staff scheduling, and documentation to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Minimum 3 years in a SOC or security operations environment.
• At least 1 year in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role.
• Security+ required; CySA+/CEH/GSEC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, NDR technologies and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and coaching to SOC analysts and leads for 24/7 readiness.
• Oversee triage of SIEM/EDR/NDR alerts with proper prioritization and escalation.
• First-line escalation for complex alerts; manage on-call and shift coverage.
• Maintain staffing schedules and operational documentation; drive improvements.
