Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk assessments, and provide vCISO advisory services while aligning client environments with regulatory requirements.

You will guide AI governance, policy development, and ongoing compliance monitoring across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001, ensuring service delivery meets contractual

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity, information security governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks with audit and evidence management experience.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, third-party/vendor risk, and cyber insurance support.
• Client-facing communication, executive stakeholder advising, and multi-engagement management.
• Experience across Windows, macOS, cloud, networking, and identity environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
• Conduct compliance gap assessments, framework crosswalks, and remediation tracking for clients.
• Oversee the Security Program Platform and governance, risk, and compliance processes.
• Manage internal and client risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and cyber insurance questionnaires.
• Provide vCISO advisory services including security strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks for clients and teams.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure remediation gaps are tracked.
• Collaborate with security operations on incident response and remediation activities.
