Job summary

SkillBit is seeking a Cyber Training Program Manager to own live training programs and the accompanying content. You will oversee the relationship between customers, instructors, and learners to ensure every course is planned and delivered.

Teaching experience is a plus and ownership is expected in a fast-moving startup environment. You will manage calendars for live virtual trainings, vet instructors, and map content to industry frameworks while coordinating with product and engineering teams

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity expertise to judge labs and map to NIST NICE and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience running a multi-stakeholder training program with schedules and reporting.
• Experience creating or managing technical training content and assessments.
• Strong written and spoken communication with customers and learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run a calendar of live virtual training from 1-hour briefings to full-day workshops, including schedule, instructor assignments, announcements, and registration.
• Be the day-to-day contact for each customer's program team and learners, and report on attendance and learning outcomes.
• Find, vet, contract, and prepare technical instructors, run dry runs, and quality-check delivery.
• Plan, commission, and review learning content, and map it to industry frameworks and customer priorities.
• Deploy courses, labs, and challenges into SkillBit Labs, and test end to end so environments work for learners.
• Judge labs and challenges for realism, appropriate skill development, and correct difficulty.
• Turn learner and instructor feedback into platform and content improvements with product/engineering teams.
• Teach sessions in areas of expertise and serve as backup instructor when needed.
• Represent SkillBit at conferences and help run customer events and hands-on activities.
