Job summary

RTX is seeking a Cutover Lead to refine cutover strategy, templates, and detailed plans, driving execution across teams. You will manage risks, track milestones, and coordinate resources to meet program objectives, with travel to multiple RTX US sites as needed.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience or 3 years with an advanced degree, strong scheduling and project-management skills, and familiarity with waterfall and agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Planview, Jira, or similar tools.
• CORE or equivalent (Six Sigma or Change Management) and project management experience.
• Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cutover plans and execution strategies for mock, rehearsal, and production cutovers.
• Drive cutover progress with clear milestones and timely task completions.
• Lead daily cross-functional meetings and coordinate workload across teams.
• Monitor risks, metrics, and resource utilization; implement mitigation and escalation as needed.
• Communicate expectations, maintain accountability, and resolve conflicts to ensure successful cutover outcomes.
• Travel up to ~25–50% to RTX US sites as required.
