Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented coordinator to manage customs documentation for US imports. The role involves data entry, classification of goods for customs release, and processing of import-related documents with attention to accuracy and compliance.

The position emphasizes excellent communication, ability to handle high volumes, and strong organizational skills. Training is provided, with hybrid onsite expectations during training and eventual flexibility based on business needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No industry experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using computer systems in a professional or educational setting.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs for entry of goods into the US.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases and tariff books.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing regulations.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
