Job summary

Westlake Plastics seeks a Customer Service Representative for the Midwest/Western region. The role is remote, serving as the primary contact for customers, processing orders, and resolving issues with accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, with strong communication and CRM/ERP proficiency. Benefits include PTO, vacation, and 401K match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide accurate product information including material specifications, pricing, lead times and availability.
• Process customer orders accurately using the company’s ERP or order management system.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate updates on order status, shipping details, and potential delays to customers.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and elevate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain detailed records in the company’s CRM system and generate service metrics.
